LevelOne announces the release of the cleverly designed WAP-0008 that incorporates a Portable Storage Enclosure and an Access Point into one device. USB 2.0 ports allows users to connect the storage enclosure to external USB devices. Ideal for Small Office and Home Users, the WAP-0008 easily stores, shares and back up data while providing wireless network access. The built-in storage bay hosts a 3.5 inch SATA/IDE Hard Disk Drive. It further provides high-speed wireless network access at 54Mbps. The WAP-0008 can provide network access to wireless network devices by acting as a bridge between wired Ethernet and wireless LAN networks to provide network access to both network.
